Why join the International Association for Forensic and Legal Linguistics?
Members of the International Association for Forensic and Legal Linguistics (IAFLL) join a community interested in all aspects of the investigation of language and the law. The Association organises international conferences and members are entitled to discounted rates at those conferences. Furthermore, all members receive, at no extra cost, electronic copies of the International Journal of Speech, Language and the Law (IJSLL) and access to all back issues of the Journal..
How do I join the International Association for Forensic and Legal Linguistics?
Please CLICK HERE to register and create an account. You will then receive a confirmation email with login details. Once you log in, you can choose and pay for your preferred membership class. You will then be an IAFLL member and have access to the members’ content.
Payment can be made using Paypal. If you don’t have a PayPal account, you can use your credit card via the Paypal ‘Guest’ option. Simply follow the Paypal link at the bottom of your account page to access this facility. The system will convert your currency into US dollars using standard exchange rates. You will receive an email confirmation of your payment, and your renewal information will be sent to the Secretary.
Membership
IAFL has three classes of membership:
» Annual Membership at $80
» Annual Student Membership at $50
» 3 year IAFL Membership at $210
Students are required to confirm their academic status by providing information relating to their college/university course. The Student membership fee is also available to the unemployed and those from financially disadvantaged countries. Please email the Secretary to apply for this rate.
